YOUTH INSTITUTE
The LA Y Youth Institute (YI) is offered at 4 locations and is FREE for all participants. A YMCA membership is not required.
The LA Y Youth Institute is designed to empower and equip young individuals with essential skills and experiences for personal and professional growth. Through a combination of hands-on learning, mentorship, and community engagement, participants embark on a transformative journey toward realizing their full potential.
About Us
Participants in the Youth Institute program will engage in a dynamic learning experience that combines technology programming, summer camping trips, planned field trips, workforce development, 21st-century skills, and year-round support. From learning Adobe Cloud programs to exploring potential career paths, our program offers a comprehensive approach to skill development and personal growth.
