What to Expect
Come experience a new take on everything families love about Y Day Camp, because SUMMER IS REFRESHED. YMCA Day Camp brings fresh energy, new experiences, and renewed excitement every day while advancing the YMCA’s role as the Center for Community Well-Being, where youth are supported to grow, connect, and thrive. Campers can refresh their bodies through sports and recreation, refresh their curiosity with hands on STEM experiences, and refresh their creativity through arts, imagination, and themed activities that encourage exploration and confidence. Each day is designed to foster belonging by creating welcoming spaces where every child feels known, valued, and connected to caring adults and peers. Rooted in the trusted YMCA camp experience, SUMMER REFRESHED delivers weekly themes that create a vibrant and inclusive camp atmosphere.
Older campers will enjoy off-site field trips, while younger campers will enjoy on-site enrichment visitors. Camp is also filled with aquatics visits, and at select locations, swimming lessons. All of these program offerings are intentionally designed to strengthen relationships, build confidence, and help every child leave camp feeling refreshed, connected, and ready for the year ahead.
Program Highlights
- A simpler way to register! Day camp options are now organized by age so families can easily find the right camp for their camper.
- Campers ages 4 to 6 (starting at 4 years and 9 months) enjoy a summer of on-site activities, including Field Trips That Come to the Y.
- Campers ages 7 to 11 who are in elementary school experience both Field Trips That Come to the Y and off site bus field trips to museums, aquatic venues, and special experiences like a visit to the Intuit Dome for a day with the Jr. Clippers.
- Select day camps include two 30-minute swimming lessons built directly into the camp day.
- Club Good Times returns for middle school campers, featuring weekly field trips, leadership development activities, hands on projects, and plenty of fun designed with older youth in mind.

Field Trips
Ages 4-6: Will enjoy Field Trips that Come to the Y! Our younger campers will remain on-site for the summer, with enrichment experiences visiting our day camp programs each week. Coined “Field Trips that Come to the Y”, we have partnered with dozens of youth enrichment partners to bring the best of summer programming safely on-site for our younger campers.
Ages 7-11 (Elementary School): Will enjoy a combination of off-site field trips via bus and on-site “Field Trips that Come to the Y!”. We have partnered with neighborhood organizations and neighborhood field trip destinations to give older campers the best of both worlds. Throughout the summer, older campers will enjoy a combination of on-site and off-site experiences.
Middle School: Our middle school Club Good Times campers will enjoy a weekly off-site field trip via bus and most locations include recreational swimming throughout the week at the Y or at local pools.
