Model Legislature & Court
Grades 9th-12th
Youth & Government’s Model Legislature & Court (MLC) continues to be the state’s premier youth leadership and civic engagement program. The MLC creates a six-month learn-by-doing experience that teaches the values of democracy by bringing together a cross-section of high school students from across the state of California.

Model United Nations
Grades 6th-8th
Model United Nations (MUN) participants will come together with peers from across California to discuss international issues, discover other cultures, develop life-enhancing skills, and make new friends. These students will become “delegates” and be assigned to one of four program areas, each focusing on improving the international community.

Conference on National Affairs
Grades 9th-12th
Conference on National Affairs (CONA) gives high school students from across the state the opportunity to convene and discuss issues facing society with peers throughout the country. During the conference, delegates engage in intensive discussion, network with peers from different parts of the country, and have fun in the spirit of lively debate.
