The YMCA has always focused on meeting the social, emotional and academic needs of our young learners so they can grow into the changemakers of tomorrow—and today is no different. During these challenging times when routines seem to change daily, one thing remains the same: the Y provides a safe, enriching place for children to learn and grow, whether through distance learning support or through essential child care for parents returning to work.
The Y is offering multiple School-Age child care options so students can recover any lost learning quickly. Programs are detailed by branch. Select a branch below and enroll today!

COVID-19 Safety Precautions & Guidelines: At the YMCA, safety is our number one priority. We are committed to operating programs that adhere to all Public Safety rules, regulations and guidelines to ensure that all children, staff, parents, guardians and authorized representatives are safe, while at the YMCA! Our current program ratios are 1 YMCA staff member for everyone 12 children, with a maximum of 12 children per room. All facilities are cleaned throughout the day and deep cleaned every evening. For a complete listing of our COVID-19 safety guidelines, including hand washing procedures, face covering guidelines, check-in procedures, daily wellness checks & screening and more, please download our 2020 Program Handbook above.
Program Closures & Cancellations Due to Low Enrollment: COVID-19 has presented some unique challenges. As the YMCA works to revive its child care, before/after school, recreational enrichment, distance learning and day camp programs, it is important that YMCA programs remain viable so that the programs can continue to operate. The YMCA reserves the right to close and cancel any program that is not meeting its minimum enrollment requirements. If a program to close, either temporarily or permanently, the YMCA will make every attempt to notify the parent, guardian or authorized representative as soon as possible so that other arrangements can be made.
